NARVIC-media is in 2000 opgericht door Menno Bakker. Met dertig jaar ervaring ondersteunt Menno organisaties, bedrijven én individuen om hun verhaal kernachtig én met impact de wereld in te helpen. Dit doet hij solo, maar ook vaak in samenwerking met een team van eersteklas filmers.

Within our team we connect cinematographers and filmmakers with a journalistic DNA. That means that we quickly get to the point, even with complex topics. And we know how to tell a story that catches target groups in a short and concise way. We use that knowledge in:

Sommige sudderen en smeulen jaren in je hoofd, voordat ze de kans krijgen te ontkiemen. Menno Bakker werkte 6 jaar aan het concept voor Stil aan de overkant. Was aanvankelijk het idee om gedurende drie jaar een oude voetbalwijk te volgen; uiteindelijk mondde het concept uit tot een uniek dubbelportret van twee vrijwilligers in het seizoen 2024/25. Voor SC Cambuur een extreem belangrijk seizoen, omdat de club verkaste van het oude vertrouwde stadion in de volkswijk, naar een gloednieuw stadion aan de andere kant van de stad. Stil aan de overkant volgt gedurende dit bijzondere jaar twee vrijwilligers: Jan, een veteraan die het gevoel krijgt langzaam naar de zijlijn te worden geduwd, en Remy, een jonge vrijwilliger die kansen ziet in de verandering.

What is ‘the sublime’? ‘When we witness something that instills fascination mixed with fear, or if we stand in the presence of something far larger than ourselves’, according to Edmund Burke (1729-1797).
So, a father and his two sons went walking, in the depths of the Yorkshire Dales. In the footsteps of Joseph Mallord William Turner, the nineteenth century landscape painter. In search of 'the sublime.'
They have seen death. They have admired life. And they have done stupid things.

Many entrepreneurs in the Netherlands have an intrinsic ambition to make the world a little better. A great example is the Frisian company Aqa.Earth, founded by entrepreneurs Mateo Mayer and Martijn Wagterveld and their partners Frank Akkerman and Michiel Oudakker. Their mission: ‘We monitor, predict and improve the quality of your living environment based on the interaction between soil and water.’
In farmer Piet-Jan Thibaudier, they found the perfect ‘launching customer'. On his farm, located a few kilometres north-west of Lemmer, Thibaudier wants to work sustaiable as much as possible. By collaborating with Aqa.Earth, he got a set of state-of-the-art sensors and a unique dasboard for his farm, with which he can try to prevent micro-pollutant and nutrient emissions as much as possible.
The project was made possible by the EU project CircIn Water and the Water Alliance.
